DIAGNOSES TO KNOW
There are a few diagnoses that can go hand in hand with chronic fatigue, pelvic pain, POTS, and/or fibromyalgia; diagnoses that most people are not checked for. This page provides information on these illnesses and how to get evaluated. This doesn't mean that everyone with fibromyalgia, POTS, or chronic fatigue has additional conditions, but personal experience has shown that these conditions can be missed.
POTS
Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) causes a rapid heart rate when standing up and affects blood flow. It can make you feel dizzy, tired, light headed, and make it hard to exercise. Learn more
Nutcracker Syndrome (NCS)
NCS is a compression of the left renal vein. It causes left flank pain, pressure around and in your abdomen, fatigue, headaches, and many other symptoms. Learn more
MALS
Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome (MALS) is a compression of the celiac artery by the median arcuate ligament. This causes pain in the epigastric area, pain after eating, bloating, autonomic dysfunction, fatigue, and other symptoms. Learn more
SMAS
Superior Mesentaric Artery Syndrome (SMAS) is a compression of the duodenum by the aorta and the superior mesenteric artery. It causes feeling full easily, bloating, weight loss, vomiting, and other symptoms.
Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia causes widespread muscle pain, fatigue, brain fog, depression, and increased sensitivity to pain. Learn more
ME/CFS
ME/CFS or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome causes overwhelming fatigue that doesn't improve with sleep and gets worse with too much activity. It also causes headaches, sensitivity to light, pain, concentration problems, and more. Learn more
May-Thurner Syndrome (MTS)
MTS is a compression of the iliac vein by the iliac artery; it is more likely to happen on the left side, but can happen on the right. It causes leg swelling, pelvic pain, groin pain, and heaviness. Learn more
Mast Cell Activation Syndrome
Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) happens when your mast cells are not functioning properly. It causes hives, flushing, rapid heart rate, stomach issues, and other problems. Learn more

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Hypermobile Spectrum Disorder (HSD) are connective tissue disorders that vary in how they impact joint hypermobility, skin stretchiness, and tissue fragility. Learn more
Pelvic Congestion Syndrome
Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS) is enlarged veins in the uterus and ovaries or scrotum in men. It causes pelvic pain, pelvic heaviness, fatigue, bloating, pain during or after sex, sometimes tachycardia, and other symptoms. Learn more
Deep Gluteal Pain Syndrome
Deep Gluteal Pain Syndrome is caused by compression of nerves in the gluteal and deep hip areas. Symptoms include pain with prolonged sitting, burning in the thigh and deep pelvis, and, sciatica. Learn more
Cerebral Spinal Fluid Leak
A CSF leak is caused by a small hole or tear in the membrane that surrounds the brain or spinal cord. Symptoms include headaches, vision changes, clear drainage from nose, neck pain, and most of these symptoms are worse when standing. Learn more

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS)
